Hunting witches and treasures with a sense of mourning
Two vintage stores, two concerning inspired with a touch of folk, magic, decadence and beauty. For Quelle and those who love living in the past and rescue treasures that would otherwise remain on the Grandma's trunk. Pre-loved items that "Recycled" without encouraging the supply curve and demand in the massive trade in goods. I confess my addiction to vintage treasures of the Black Moon Sisters. I think that I will not use anything other than vintage, unless absolutely necessary (as in the case of foundation garments.) Nothing like the charm of the auction in history in order, pending the arrival, knowing that from Sweden and Austin (Texas) these beautiful witches send their charms (previously hunted in vintage shops in different parts of the world) who from the beginning of time (the time preceding article) was to be the owner or co-owner. Who wants to go to a mega store that gives back trend when you can purchase the item from the museum of the past decades?
recycling never was so chic and often very expensive if you spent a little time to follow the auctions of these girls, where some items are up to the thousands of dollars.
I must clarify that although the witches selling furs pre-worn by grandmothers, I think the consumer is better than "not compassionate" encourage the current production of fur items through the purchase of these products. If the consumer of these items are not kind to the animals in this kind of bloody kind of industries, so unless you purchase those already found in decades the market. How wonderful it would ever see the market as narrow or limited (eg the ban on the sale of skins) only museum items. For better and for worse, the traces of the past can not be deleted but if used to draw a more sustainable and compassionate way.
I think the vintage is a wonderful alternative for both environmentalists and animal advocates rather conscious consumers. I think in this niche market, the negative externalities are reduced either by romanticism, environmentalism or snobbery.
That's motivation to buy whatever it is but that will benefit the planet ...
